Obituary of Yvonne M. Muter

MUTER, Yvonne M. of Saginaw, MI passed away peacefully, Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Covenant HealthCare - Harrison. She was 81 years old. Yvonne M. Welch was born on November 24, 1930 in Lapeer, to the late Francis "Bill" and Delphine (Morrow) Welch. She married Allen L. (Bud) Muter on October 22, 1949. He preceded her in death on September 19, 1992. Yvonne was a member of State St. United Methodist Church, the Tri City Miniature Makers and volunteered at Abortion Alternatives. She also loved to travel, attend demolition derbies and spending time with her family. Yvonne is survived by her children: Robert (Deborah) Muter, John (Cheryl) Muter, Gloria (Dennis) Wenzlick and Jeanne Blasch; grandchildren: Shawn (Wendy) Wenzlick, Kelly Wenzlick, Meagen Blasch, Bret Muter, Kelsey Ann Blasch and Logan Michael Allen Blasch; great grandchildren: Shannon, A.J., Zachary and Maddison; brother, Robert Welch; and a sister, Rose Flynn. Yvonne was preceded in death by her sister, Thelma Pittenger; and her beloved cat, Sam. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Yvonne will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd., (off State). Pastor Bill Bodnar will officiate with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday, February 10, 2012, from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
