Mattheis, Betty E. of Saginaw, Michigan. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Healthsource Saginaw. She was 94 years old. Betty Coutz was born June 12, 1924 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Robert and Dorothy (Fish) Coutz. She married Henry G. Mattheis on August 29, 1947 in Napoleon, Ohio. Betty was a faithful and active member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church for many years. She loved golfing and bowling. Betty also enjoyed cooking and entertaining. But, what she really loved most was spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Henry (Mary) Mattheis Jr., Connie Csutora; grandchildren, Henry (Chris) Mattheis III, Martin Mattheis, Adam (Ashley) Mattheis, Ryan Csutora, Scott (Kat) Csutora, Tyler (Katie) Csutora; great-grandchildren, Hailey Csutora, Grace Csutora, Kayla Csutora, Ethan Csutora, Chase Csutora, Autumn Mattheis and many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Henry and son in-law, Guy Csutora. FUNERAL SERVICE: According to Betty's wishes, a private funeral service has already taken place. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Alzheimer's Association.
