Obituary of Robert Dale Frank

Frank, Robert Dale of Saginaw Township, Michigan. Passed away with his family by his side on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Home. He was 71 years old. Robert was born May 6, 1947 in Tawas, Michigan to the late Lawrence and Theresia (Burkenbach) Frank. He married Carolyn Rapp on August 29, 1970 in Tawas, Michigan. Robert attended Delta College earning an Associate Degree. He was employed by Sears as a maintenance manager, retiring after 38 years of service. He loved going on camping trips throughout Michigan and Canada. Robert also enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. But, what He really loved most was spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Frank; children, Steven, Brian and Logan; grandchildren, Julia, Sidney and Abby; siblings, Gloria, Gary and Dan; dear friend, Rick Koester; brothers in-law, sisters in-law; many nieces and nephews; and his Yorkies known as "Daddy's girls", Mitzi & Mattie. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Judy and brother, Lawrence. The family would like to especially thank the Covenant Oncology Department, Covenant Harrison 7 Main and Covenant VNA Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather to share memories at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. According to Robert's wishes, cremation has taken place.
