Obituary of Theresa Webb

WEBB, Theresa (Desrosier) of Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Edgewood Assisted Living with her loving family by her side. She was 92 years old. Theresa Mary Desrosier was born on September 1, 1926 in Crookston, Minnesota to the late Joseph David and Mary Ann (Delorme) Desrosier. She was a 1944 graduate of St. Mary High School. While working at Lufkin Rule, Theresa met the love of her life, Earl Lynes Webb and they were married on May 26, 1951 in Saginaw. They celebrated 63 years together before his passing on January 30, 2015. Theresa was a charter member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, now St. Dominic Parish. After raising five children, she enjoyed working for Weight Watchers for 40 years, retiring at the age of 81. Her hobbies included quilting, sewing, needlework and gardening. Surviving are two daughters and three sons: Linda Cox of St. Joseph, Marsha (Tom) Schaper of Saginaw, Russell (Connie) Webb of North Pole, AK, Paul Webb of Saginaw, and Neil (Shelly) Webb of Cheyenne WY. Theresa loved her 11 grandchildren: Jeff (Marie) Schaper, Rebecca (Arturo) Lumpkin, Ryan Webb, Daniel Webb, Brandon Webb, Blake Webb, Michael Cox, Nathan Cox, Meloney (Dane) Cuffe, Kaitlynn (Steve) DeMoney, and Kari (Jake) Schiffner; six great-grandchildren: Henry, Genevieve and Margaret Lumpkin, William and Caroline Schaper and Rowan Cuffe. Also surviving are two sisters: Aldia Pavlik and Marcie (Don) Austin; brother, Ted (Peggy) Desrosier; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Desrosier and Carol (Jerry) Beadle; brother-in-law, Harold (Ginny) Webb; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Theresa was preceded in death by two brothers, Ron (Margaret) Desrosier and Jerry Desrosier. Theresa's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Terrace staff of Edgewood Assisted Living Center and Don from The Care Team Home Health and Hospice, for the support and care they provided. FUNERAL: Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at St. Dominic Catholic Church - St. Stephen site, 1310 Malzahn. Rev. Fr. Steven M. Gavit will officiate. Rite of Committal will take place at St. Andrew Mausoleum. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Theresa will lie in state at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
