I was 18 years old and had just graduated from high school when my school was notified that Mr. Currie was looking to fill a receptionist position in the Prosecutors Office. Another student and myself interviewed for the job. Mr. Currie hired me. I was the first Hispanic woman he hired to work in this office. This position was the beginning of my legal career. I eventually worked in this office for two other Prosecuting Attorneys. I am forever grateful to Mr. Currie for giving me that position. He was a good boss and I highly respected him.
