Obituary of Damiana J. Rosas

Passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Ascension St. Mary's of Michigan age 75. Damiana was born on September 22, 1943 in San Antonia, TX the daughter of the late Juan and Maria (Concemia) Campos. She was united in marriage to Juan Rosas Jr. on July 2, 1964 in Traverse City, MI; he preceded her in death on June 9, 2018. Damiana enjoyed playing shuffle board and bingo. She loved going to horse races and sitting on her porch watching the birds and squirrels. But most of all she loved cooking for her family; Damiana took pride in having family gatherings. She was a very joyful person who cared very much for others. Damiana is survived by her three sons; Juan (Jennifer) Rosas III, Anthony Rosas and Andrew (Jennifer) Rosas; ten grandchildren; Scott Vlassis, Dannielle Rosas, Anthony Rosas Jr., John Trevino, Cyprian (Bri) Barsenas, Kayla Adams, Jesus Rosas, Koty Rosas, Juan Rosas IV, Benjamin Rosas and Alivia Rosas, many great-grandchildren; brother; Juan (Maria) Campos Jr., sister; Juanita Botello, 4 brothers and sister in-laws, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Juan Jr., Damiana was preceded in death by a brother; Roberto (Adelita) Campos, a baby sister; and 2 brother in-laws. NO MEMORIAL LUNCHEON: Due to unfortunate circumstances this memorial gathering is be postponed to a later date.
