MATSON, Barbara Marie of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. Age 68 years. Barbara Marie Henne was born December 22, 1943 to the late David S. and Arlene M. Henne. She was married to Gary A. Matson on August 28, 1965. He survives her. Barbara was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her work as a private duty nurse. Barbara is survived by her husband: Gary A. Matson; two daughters: Lisa (Eric) Larson and Suzanne (Steve) Burns; six grandchildren: Grace, Ella, Brandon, Meredith, Liam, and Aidan; her brother: David J. Henne; and a special cousin: Billie Marie Merrick FUNERAL: Funeral services will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5335 Brockway Rd. Rev. Mark Buckert will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the church on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of Barbara's funeral service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. - Library Fund.
