Obituary of Venessa Isabell Rosenfield

Venessa Isabell Rosenfield, age 96 passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at St. Francis Home. Venessa was born February 03, 1922 in Alpena, Michigan the daughter of William and Bessie (Ranger) Morrison. She was united in marriage to James Rosenfield on October 11, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan; he preceded her in death in 1975. Venessa was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 24 years. She enjoyed dressing up as a clown for children's parties. Venessa loved to bowl, play cards and especially enjoyed dancing to Polka music. Venessa is survived by her children; Sandy Shepherd, Fran (Mike) De Nardo and Jim (Ellie) Rosenfield, 12 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchild; and 1 sister; Marjorie Leidlein. Besides her husband James, Venessa was preceded in death by a grandchild, 2 brothers and 1 sister. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Venessa will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 PM from Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd (off State). Rev. Rob Schmidt to officiate. Private burial to take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
