Obituary of Steven Philip Hatch

Hatch, Steven P. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on July 17, 2018 at Covenant Medical Center - Harrison. He was 68 years old. Steven Philip Hatch was born on August 6, 1949 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Philp N. and Virginia (McPherson) Hatch. Steven graduated from McArthur High School with the Class of 1967 and earned his Bachelor's in Accounting from Western Michigan University with the Class of 1972. He was an accountant for General Motors, now Nexteer, for nearly 40 years, until his retirement in 2012. In his spare time, Steve enjoyed playing and coaching baseball, golf, bowling, volleyball, and bridge. He will be remembered for always being proud and there for his son, Dave. Surviving are a son, David Hatch; nephew, Eric (Rebecca) Hatch; David's mother, Kathleen Moon; and close friend, Marty Humphrey. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dave Hatch.
Burial of the cremated remains will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Lung Association.
