Obituary of Wilma R. Counts

COUNTS, Wilma R. of Saginaw, Michigan, formerly of Vassar, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2012 at St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital. She was 70 years old. Wilma R. Hartman was born on September 14, 1941 in Saginaw to the late Bernard and Alice (Stoeckle) Hartman. She was married to Kim L. Counts on October 28, 1967 in Flint. He preceded her in death on October 28, 1983. Wilma graduated from SS. Peter and Paul High School. Following her graduation, she became licensed in Cosmetology. She enjoyed collecting light houses, Coca- Cola items, reading, gardening and watching the Food Network. Wilma is survived by two daughters and a son: Gwen Roberts of Saginaw, Katrina (Raymond) Banister of Bay City and Keary (Krista) Counts of Caro; five grandchildren: Tony, Kyle, Abigail, Tyler and Ryan; four brothers and five sisters. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Keller. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Honoring Wilma's wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2012 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) Rev. Fr. Joseph Schabel will officiate.
