BERGHOFF, Margaret T., of Saginaw, Michigan passed away peacefully on Friday, May 18, 2012 at Luther Manor. She was 102 years of age. Margaret Berghoff was born on September 22, 1909 in Saginaw to the late Joseph and Katherine (Steininger) Berghoff. Margaret graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School in 1927. She had been employed by Standard Oil for many years before retiring in 1972. Margaret was a member of S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Surviving are her sister-in-law, Virginia Berghoff, and many dear nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by two sisters: Louise (Robert) Pabst, Catherine (Mike) Schrems; and two brothers: George (Ruth) Berghoff, Joseph Berghoff. FUNERAL: Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012 at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 4735 W. Michigan Ave. Rev. Fr. Jack Johnson will officiate with Rite of Committal in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the church on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. MEMORIALS: Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
