Obituary of Max J. LaClair

LeCLAIR, Max J. of Saginaw, Michigan passed away peaceful on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at his home. Max LeClair was born on February 25, 1923 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Eugene and Anna (Leuenberger) LeClair. He married Margaret Holme-Shaw on December 4, 1948 in Saginaw. She survives him. Max had been employed by Saginaw Malleble Iron, as the Chief of Plant Protection. He proudly served his county in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during World War II. He was a member of Ames United Methodist Church, the Masons and Disabled Veterans of American. He was very passionate about his work with Alcoholic's Anonymous. Max really loved spending time with the people he loved, winters with Margaret in Naples, FL and many summer camping trips with his family. Surviving besides his wife Margaret are two daughters and a son; Sue Paez, Pamela (Tom) Tarkowski and Gary (Darlene) LeClair. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In accordance with Max's wishes cremation has taken place. FUNERAL- A Memorial Service honoring Max will take place on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastor Chester Webster will officiate. VISITATION- Friends are welcome to visit with Max's family at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Service. MEMORIALS- In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Disabled Veterans of America or Alcoholics Anonymous.
