Garcia, Angelita "Angie" Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend passed away peacefully on February 23, 2018 in Beaumont, CA after a lengthy battle with diabetes. She was 69 years old. Angelita Camelita Garcia was born on December 18, 1948 to the late Leandro and Delfina (Zamora) Garcia. She married Ricardo "Richard" Garcia on January 22, 1966 in Saginaw, and he survives her. Angie graduated from Buena Vista High School, and then later returned to Buena Vista High School as a Teacher's Aide. She enjoyed working with the students until her retirement in the late 90's. Angie loved cooking her specialties for family events, baking birthday treats for all of her family, and spending time in her yard. Her thoughtfulness of sending cards, her giving spirit and kindness made everyone feel welcome, safe and loved. Angie's heartfelt conversations and smile will be deeply missed by her husband, Ricardo; children: Della (Timothy) Bonenfant, Richard (Linda) Garcia and Estara (Alberto) Garcia; grandchildren: Sahara and London Bonenfant, Jasmine, Anthony, Angelee, Alyse and Alexander Garcia, and Adrien "Skip" Michael; two great-grandchildren: Fiona Wilson and Jace Lee; three sisters and five brothers: Gloria Rosas, Leonardo (Alice) Garcia, Linda (Robert) Rosas, Enrique (Joette) Garcia, Julian Garcia and his companion, Melody, Elizabeth Garcia, Leandro (Tara) Garcia III and Deondre Garcia; her dear aunt, Carmen Arizo (Tia kila); special cousins: Margaret Perez (Mage), Carmen Lopez, Benita Ortega, and Adelita Wojcik; many nieces and nephews. Angie was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Adora Garcia; and brother-in-law, Frank Rosas. FUNERAL: A funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. Sixth Street, Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Francis Voris, OFM Cap will officiate. Family and friends will gather at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. According to Angie's wishes cremation has taken place. MEMORIALS: Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial contribution to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
