Obituary of Terry L. Toyzan

Toyzan, Terry of Shreveport, LA formerly of Saginaw Beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, January 25, 2018. He was 64 years old. Terry was born on April 28, 1953 in Bay City, Michigan to Anthony "Tony" and Marian (Dittmar) Toyzan. He was a proud 1971 graduate of Douglas MacArthur High School. Following graduation, Terry began his career with General Motors; retiring with over 30 years of service. Surviving are his mother, Marian Toyzan of Saginaw; a brother, Perry (Bonnie) Toyzan of McCormick, SC; two sisters: Cynthia (Greg) Leder of Kalamazoo and Toni (Karsten) Schlenter of South Burlington, VT; two nephews: Brandon (Alisha) Toyzan and Austin Leder; six nieces, Carly (Mike) Ellis, Erin Leder, Alison (Paul) Perks, Nicole (Derek) Schlenter, Michelle and Alyssa Schlenter; and a great-niece, Freyja Toyzan. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony S. Toyzan on July 4, 1980; an infant sister, Tamara on October 10, 1954; and grandparents: Anthony J. and Catherine (Budai) Toyzan and Hugo and Lydia (Block) Dittmar. Honoring Terry's wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Millington Township Cemetery, 4939 Main Street, Millington, Michigan 48746.
