I was fortunate to have worked with Lyle & Bob in the kitchen at St. Stephen's. I can honestly say that they are two of the most wonderful people I have ever met. I truly enjoyed working with both of them. Lyle always had a smile on his face and had a true zest for life. My sincerest condolences to Lyle's family and to Bob for their tremendous loss. Lyle will be truly missed but it is comforting to know that he will always be looking down on all of you and smiling.

I met Lyle as a freshman at NMU, he mentioned he was from Freeland, me from Saginaw. He said he kept a car off campus and would let me know when he was headed home for a weekend. A friendship began! His generous heart, warm smile was what made him so special. We ran into each other over the years, here and there. I worked at the hospital and many times saw him there. Most recently Facebook. We both had a love for dogs and often shared their antics! Heaven has gained a very special angel! My deepest sympathy to his family and friends, Rest In Peace Lyle, you will be missed!
