Mr. Surian taught in several schools, but came into his own as assistant principal at Ricker Junior High School, where he enforced the school rules sternly a and vigorously, to the terror of all of us rambunctious, disobedient students. He is one of those dedicated professionals that had a real presence in our lives and an unforgettable impact on our lives forever. A life well-lived, may he rest in peace.
