Obituary of Rose F. Ballien

Ballien, Rose F. of El Mirage, Arizona, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at her Arizona home. She was 96 years old. Rose Florence Rasica was born on June 15, 1921 to the late Louis and Florence (Vitacco) Rasica. She married Frank Cammarata on July 7, 1946. He passed away on November 30, 1977. She then married Ervin W. Ballien on June 16, 1984 at St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Saginaw; he survives her. She graduated from Wells High School with the Class of 1938. She owned Metropolitan Answering Service for 17 years, until her retirement in 1985. Rose was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Saginaw. In her spare time, Rose enjoyed Square Dancing, Travel, Card Playing, Reading, and playing Word with Friends and Solitaire on her Nook. Surviving besides is her husband of 34 years, Erv are three daughters and two sons: Frank (Rosalie) Cammarata, James (Claudette) Cammarata, Louise (Robert) Eaton, Marie (James) Lamia and Paula Cammarata (Dave Wiblishauser). There are also five grandchildren: Erica Murray, Jessica (Kevin) Warzecha, Gina (Jeff) Lockwood, Elaina (David) Tryee and Frank Cammarata Jr. as well as three great-grandchildren: Josh Weiss Jr., Caleb and Landon Lockwood. Also, one sister and one brother: Michael (Irene) Rasica and Diane (Rudy) Bartolozzi; and many nieces, nephews and friends. FUNERAL: Funeral Services will take place 1:00 p.m., Saturday December 9, 2017 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (Off State St.). Dennis Newman will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
