Le Clair, Margaret E. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center, Midland. She was 94 years old. Margaret Elizabeth Holme-Shaw was born on August 22, 1923 in Saginaw to the late William A. and Annie (McKay) Holme-Shaw. She married Max Le Clair on December 4, 1944 in Saginaw. He passed away on May 31, 2012. Margaret graduated from Arthur Hill High School. She worked for Eaton Manufacturing during WWII. She then enjoyed working for many years as a dental assistant for Dr. Grenney, Dr. Nelson and Dr. Neer. Margaret loved to winter in Naples, Florida with her husband, Max. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren who will greatly miss her. In her free time, Margaret crocheted, knit, sewed, cross stitch, embroidery and spent time in her garden and cooking for her family. She is survived by her daughters, Sue Ann Paez and Pamela K. (Tom) Tarkowski; son, Gary T. (Darlene) Le Clair; grandchildren: Laura Paez, Leslie (Mike) Millard, Jordan (Ellis Rose) Hubbard, Stacy Tarkowski, Yvonne (Brad) Tennant, Keith (Schanda) Tarkowski, Jamie (Rochelle Chantaca) Le Clair and Jill Le Clair; great grandchildren: Griffin, Marissa, Nathan, Kairi, Logan, Olivia, Jordyn, Gabe, Alexandria, Lilly, Owen, Natalie, Landon, Dylan, Dakota and Connor; loving sister, Jean Mulkerin. Margaret is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Max Le Clair; brothers, Norman, William and Collin Holme-Shaw; two sisters-in-law, Nettie Heard and Grace Holme-Shaw. Margaret's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Maria, Lorina and Katrina for their loving care. SERVICE: A Memorial Service honoring Margaret will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Chaplain Lori Becker will officiate with inurnment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
