I am so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. We had the opportunity to share many conversations on the back of Ojibway Island while preparing for the annual 4th of July fireworks. Richard was an outstanding, dependable and conscientious volunteer, but more importantly, he was a warm and generous gentleman. I will cherish the memories of time spent together. May God bless his family during this time of sor

I was very sadden by the loss of Richard when I heard the news, Rich had spoke to me in confidence when he had first learned of his sickness and my heart went out to him then and it was hard to take in. I had known Rich for the past 40 years, 28 years at the Police Dept and 12 years at EZ Pro Delivery.
Rich always had a kind word for anyone that he came into contact with and he would go out of his way to help others without asking, you would never known when he was going to make a remark about going out of town or getting something to eat you know those little things.
Rich will be sadly missed and my prayers go out to his wife Roberta and family members. My friend RIP and it was a great pleasure knowning you.

RICHARD KAPP A CARING WONDERFUL MAN
Richard Kapp worked for my company; EZ Pro Delivery Inc. Rich was our leader and our family, he watched over all of us. We all loved him so much and would do anything for him. Rich loved his job and would do anything for the company and the employees. He never complained and never had a bad word to say about anybody and had a smile and a positive attitude every day. We all went to Rich with questions and he always had the correct answers and direction. Rich taught me patience when I didn't have any. He would pull the reigns and talk me through the tough times. Rich helped me run EZ Pro Delivery. He had such a funny sense of humor and in the tough times at EZ Pro, which was almost every day, he always brought humor in the mix. Rich made a point to know every job and do it 100%. He went over and above every day he worked, even if it wasn't his job he helped out without being asked. He was always there for me and for EZ Pro employees. Rich ran the ice machine and knew it inside and out. He ran deliveries and stayed after when needed. I always knew I could count on him. Richard Kapp was our saint; Richard Kapp was EZ Pro Delivery. We will miss you Rich, our EZ Pro Family will not be the same. In memory of you, we will run EZ Pro the way you taught us; with integrity, grace, calmness, humor, care with love. We will treasure your memories. You have left a great legacy here at EZ Pro. Rich I will miss you, you were a best friend the big brother I never had, you were my partner at EZ Pro, Thank you Rich for all you gave, for all your hard work, and for all you taught me, I will be forever grateful. Love you Rich! May you rest in peace.
P.S. I want to also thank Rich's wonderful wife, Roberta, for all her support when we needed Rich to work over time or come in early and work extra shifts. Thank you Roberta for allowing Rich to be a part of the EZ Pro Delivery Family, we will cherish the memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Love Candace

Rest in heaven Rich Kapp. We definitely will all miss you here at EZ pro. Rich was a retired police officer and he had the hugest heart of anyone I know. He would bend over backwards for my mom and the company. He always had fun ideas for me to do with my boys, always a thoughtful soul. One time Rich and I had to pick up my mom's truck from the airport together and we took extra time to stop and get dinner at a Mexican place. We had the best conversations he told me the funniest stories! Rich was like family to me and I'm going to miss him very much :disappointed_relieved:

My thoughts and prayers are with Roberta, George, Gene, Vicki and the rest of the Kapp family during this trying time. My compadre Richard was a gentle giant and a great friend, who's love for family and the church will always be remembered. Fond memories of those days when we shot pool at the house, playing basketball in the Kapp backyard have always been treasured. I was happy that I got a chance to visit with Richard and George when my dad passed away. My family really appreciated their kind words and prayers.
Rest in peace my brother!

I considered him the "big brother" of the family. I have many memories of him keeping "watch" over all of us - especially when we would ride from Tia Bea's to our house in the township. He was our protector along with the chains we would carry to keep the dogs away until the police stopped us. May you rest in peace "Fingers", our big brother. You will be missed --
