Obituary of Marilyn Joan Dunham

Please share a memory of Marilyn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Marilyn Joan Dunham (Lycka), was received into the arms of her Lord and Savior on January 29, 2017. Born on December 9, 1933 in Chesaning, Michigan to Frank and Eleanor Lycka, Marilyn graduated from George N. Bentley High School in 1951. After high school, Marilyn worked for Kaiser-Frasier and Burroughs Adding machines before becoming a mother and homemaker. She is survived by two children, Dan and Lynn, grandson Michael Dunham, and sisters Patsy Siterlet and Debbie Gregg. Marilyn lived in Saginaw for most of her life. She attended Central Church of the Nazarene and, on occasion, visited Hopevale Church. The family thanks the kind employees of Community Village Assisted Care and Saint Francis Home of Saginaw who lovingly cared for Marilyn during her later years. They are also grateful for the kindness and companionship of Chris and Margaret Vincent of Saginaw Township who befriended Marilyn and looked after her. Chris and Margaret helped in more ways than can be mentioned in assisting with Marilyn's care while her immediate family was many miles away. We are endlessly grateful! A celebration of life for Marilyn will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 16th at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road, Saginaw, Michigan. Visitors will be welcomed at 10 a.m. Rest in Peace Mom.
