Lyvere, Robert Dewayne of Birch Run, Michigan, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved brother passed away peacefully on Friday, January 13, 2017 at his home. He was 73 years old. Robert Dewayne Lyvere was born on January 5, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Milford D. and Emma (Curtin) Lyvere, Sr. He was a faithful member of the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Cora and all of the staff at the Sloan Home for all the love and care they provided to Robert. Surviving are three brothers: Mildford James Lyvere, Jr. of Birch Run, Louis Leroy (Nancy) of Freeland, and Richard Lee Lyvere of Birch Run; three sisters: Shirley Ann (Tony) Chevalier of Whittemore, Lillian Deloris Lyvere of Birch Run and Millie Marie Lyvere of Birch Run. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Floyd Albert Lyvere, Lawrence Lyvere and Jack Lyvere; a sister, Ellen Kienutski; and his parents Milford D. and Emma Ann (Curtin) Lyvere. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Andrew Catholic Church, 612 N. Michigan Ave. Rev. Fr. Andy Booms will officiate. Rite of Committal will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State).
