Obituary of Kim A. Mason

MASON, Kim A. Beaverton, Michigan Our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Covenant HealthCare - Harrison. He was 64 years old. Kim A. Mason was born on December 14, 1952 in Saginaw, MI to the late Dennis J. and Musa G. (Gilbert) Mason. Kim A. Mason married Sandra A. Moracco on December 30, 1978 in Geneva, NY; she survives him. Kim was a brilliant business man, owning and operating several businesses throughout his life. His personality was a brilliant light in the room, and his warm and jovial spirit will be greatly missed by all of those that knew him and have met him. Kim is survived by his wife, Sandy Mason; son, Brent A. (Ashley) Mason; grandson: Ayden James Mason; brother, Dennis J. Mason, II; he will also be missed by his nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Tammy Bauer. FUNERAL: Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Jeremy S. Mason will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends and family are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
