Oh my where do i begin,my grandpa was a great man with a big heart he helped anyone that needed it.Now I'm not saying my grandpa was perfect cause he wasnt but who is.If you got on that mans bad side watch out cause his temper went from 0 to 100 real quick.He was old school and very strict but thats all he knew.I remember when he called us we had better came and said yes grandpa because if we yelled what oh boy we were getting our ear pulled.I remember when he would have a cookout or something and invite all his other grandkids he would pull me and my brother rudy to the side and tell us to watch his son jacobo and if anything happened to him or if one of the other grandkids were doing something bad and we didnt tell him we were the ones that were gonna get it and we did!!But he also did the most for me and my brother because out of all his grandkids we were the only ones without a dad and he stepped up as much as he could to fill that spot.I remember one time i was getting picked on in school and he found out he took me to the principals office and cussed him out and said if aything else happens to my grandson ill b back well lets just say i never had another problem.I could go on and on with stories about my grandpa like i said he was a grat man inside and out and will forever be loved and missed

Love you and miss you. Thank you for always being there for me, wanting to help me as I grew up. Even when I was stubborn. I appreciate everything you did for me and know I will always carry you in my heart along with all of the memories I have of you.Wishing now more than ever that I had taken advantage of seeing you more often after moving back home to Saginaw. Love you Uncle Blue. RIH

loving memory of My tio Cruz I've always seen you as the uncle who showed us he loved us with tough love. You wanted us to be respectful to our elders, and to be on our best behavior or you would make sure we were if we got out of line. However, I never had to worry about that because you always made me feel like I was your favorite of all your nieces and nephews. Although, I'm sure you secretly made us all feel that way in your own unique way. I'll always remember how you use to spoil me with monetary gifts. There was never a time that I seen you where you wouldn't reach in your pocket to give me spending money so I could buy myself something. I'll always remember my nickname you gave me, you would tell me, "mija, whats your name?" I would say, in a soft voice rosie, you would reply in your strong voice with a serious look on your face, "It's not rosie, its Roach!". Then you would bust out with a laugh, and a smile giving me a hug, and say,"now whats your name mija?" I'd reply Roach Tio, and like always you'd reach in your pocket and send me on my way. I also remember the nights I would spend at your house, you would always send us to clean up b4 bed, and would make sure we did it right, if we didn't do it properly you would send us back to take another bath. Till this day I still rub the spots you would check us for to make sure we were clean lol . I'm sure many who stayed with my tio know of which spots they are. Thank you tio for all you did for me, as a youth it help me more then you'll ever know. I always felt safe and protected in your home, and although my visit as an adult were few and far between I always new you loved us, bc it only takes a moment to create a life time memory. You will be miss dearly tio, and remember always. My heartfelt prayers are with all my family during this difficult times. My heart is saddened knowing i could not be with all the family, but im with you in heart m lighting blue candles in his loving memory. And in his honor I sign off with, love yous all , "ROACH"

I'm Free
by Shannon Lee Moseley
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free.
I'm following the path God has chosen for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call;
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
to laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way;
I've found now peace at the end of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;
Oh yes, these things, I too will l miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
look for the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much;
good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seems all too brief;
don't lengthen your time with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and peace to thee,
God wanted me now - He set me free.

This is a very sad day for everyone. I hope that my words about my brother Blue will help alleviate some of your grief. I would like to share some fond memories and personal stories that made my brother such a wonderful person. My brother was only a couple of years older than me, but at times I think he felt a lot older than that. My brother was very protective over me. When I was younger I remember that this bothered me, but now that I look back I know that he loved me a lot and wanted what was best for me. He was always there for me when I needed him and I knew that I could talk to him about any problems I had. I trusted my brother a lot, we were both able to share secrets with each other. Blue was a character. He always had a smile on his face and always seemed to have a new joke to tell. His easy-going relaxed nature made him a delight to be around. He had a lot of close friends and was always the life of the party. One of the things that I respected the most about my brother was that even though he had such a carefree attitude, he also had a serious side. Blue you will be greatly missed by so many of us. My heart goes out to Janet, Timmy, Cynthia, Vinda, Kiki & Jacobo during this difficult time. Please know that I'm always here for you. Whether to talk or cry or even just to sit in silence and listen. May God Bless you and provide you with strength, Love and Peace knowing that we will one day see Blue again. All my Love, Eva :heart:

Tio, I remeber I would go in Ama's closet, when she wasn't looking, just to get your Army uniform and try it on. I always admired the uniform and the purple heart that hung on it. I dreamt of joining the Army one day just because I was so inspired by the fact that you joined the Army and had the uniform and medals. I tried joining the Army years later as I wanted to be a military police but they said I was to short. I later joined the world's finest the United States Marines. Another memory that I have was that you were meaner than a junk yard dog...lol..but you always gave me great advice. You also had such a generous heart, always giving even though we didn't even need it. You will be missed Tio. Love you, Casper & Family

I could never understand him when he spoke for obvious reasons, but his quick gentle smile and kind eyes always spoke volumes to me. His legacy is in his children and grandchildren, and from what I have witnessed from my wonderful neighbors is that his legacy is great and assured through them. What a remarkable blessing.
Janet, be of good courage during this hard time and the days ahead in missing him, and find comfort in the words that Jesus spoke, "He sleeps."
My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.
Your neighbor, Mary Beth

Dad, there's not much say bcuz we talked everyday. We laughed, we cried but most importantly we shared our feelings with one another. Sometimes we both got quiet, bcuz we are strong men. But one day during our heart to heart talks, you got quiet and told me, you're a good son mijo. As I seen your tears my heart cried also. For those are the words I longed to hear my whole life. And as I sat on the bed with you,you put your hand on my leg n said, I'm glad you're home. All I could do was hug you n whisper in your ear, thank you I love you dad there's No place I rather be than taking care of you. Then we got quiet, n you broke the ice with a joke. Thank you for everything you done for me thru my life. The lessons were hard but well learned, I appreciate them now. I thank our Lord that he chose you for my father. I will always cherish our time together n the many memories you have given me. Love you forever n a day.
