Obituary of Ernest H. Enriquez

Of Houston, Texas, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan, unexpectedly passed away on December 24, 2016. He was 52 years old. Ernest Hernandez Enriquez was born on June 21, 1964 in Lubbock, Texas to John and Evelia (Hernandez) Enriquez. Ernest was employed by Choice Hotel, where he was a Chief Engineer, earned his GED, and was a member of the Powerhouse Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing, music, riding his motorcycle, drawing, and he loved his girls. Surviving are his parents, John and Evelia Enriquez; two daughters: Angela (Patrick) Andrews and Mariah Zeitz; two granddaughters and one grandson: Quinn, Lucy, and Finnegan Andrews; sister, Cherie Fuentes; brother, John Jr. "Fudd" (Jenny) Enriquez; mother of his children, Melissa Zeitz; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marcelo and Beatrice Hernandez. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Robert Richards will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
