Obituary of Adeline Petchell

Petchell, Adeline C. (Schlicker) Saginaw Twp., Michigan Passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Cartwright Hospice Residence. She was 88 years old. Adeline C. Petchell was born on December 26, 1927 in Freeland, MI to the late Frederick W. and Freida A. (Bickle) Schlicker. Adeline married Virgil R. Petchell on April 30, 1989 and he preceded her in death on October 29, 1997. She was deeply rooted in her love for her Lord. Adeline lived a full life meeting and making friends where ever she went. Adeline is survived by her sister, Marie Nitschke; nephew, Kenneth (Ann) Nitschke; niece, Kay (Mike) Irwin; great niece and great nephew: Jessica and Joshua. She is also survived by many dear friends and neighbors, including Tim and Cathy Noonan and Joyce and Duane Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Erna Schlicker. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Adeline will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd., (off State). Rev. David Sherry will officiate. Private burial will follow at the Lutheran Home Cemetery, Monitor Township. Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
