Smith, Jamie J. of Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved husband, father, son and brother passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at his home with his beloved wife and family by his side. He was 41 years old. Jamie John Smith was born on January 14, 1975 in Saginaw, Michigan to Gerald Smith and Terry Baker. He married the love of his life and soul mate, Sarah Samantha Taylor on October 9, 2004 at Davis Park in Bridgeport; she survives him. Jamie was a proud 1993 graduate of Bridgeport High School. Following graduation he enlisted and proudly served his country with the United States Coast Guard. Upon his return, Jamie began working for TRW Automotive and Memtron. He was a talented musician and enjoyed playing his bass guitar. Above anything, Jamie cherished his fairy-tail romance to his one true love, Sarah, and endlessly treasured his children to the moon and back. He truly enjoyed being present with family, especially playing disc golf or using his imagination to build many wonderful Lego projects.
