Obituary of Pauline Rose Ponte

Ponte, Pauline R. of Saginaw, Michigan Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away peacefully on Friday, August 12, 2016 at her home with her family by her side. She was 75 years old. Pauline Rose Patenaude was born on June 8, 1941 in West Warwick, Rhode Island to the late Fulgence and Charlotte (Tellier) Patenaude. She married John Rego Ponte on May 5, 1984; he survives her. Surviving are her husband of 32 years, John R. Ponte of Saginaw; a daughter, Terri Stout of Saginaw; a son, Johnny (Michelle) Stout, Jr. of Saginaw; three grandchildren: Kathy (Justin) Harper, Robin Stout and Johnny Stout all of Saginaw; two great-grandchildren: Jacobi and Jaxon Harper; and two brother, Norman (Ann) Patenaude and Donald Patenaude all of Rhode Island. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at St. Dominic Parish, St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1310 Malzahn. Rev. Fr. Andrew LaFramboise will officiate. Private burial and Rite of Committal will take place on Wednesday at Great Lakes National Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
