Kenny, Geraldine Louise Saginaw Twp., Michigan Passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was 85 years old. Geraldine Louise Denzer was born on October 18, 1930 in Saginaw to the late Orlo Clyde and Elma Louise (Hill) Denzer. Gerry was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, graduating from Arthur Hill High School and receiving her Nursing Degree from Delta College. She then earned her Bachelor Degree at Saginaw Valley State University and Masters Degree from Central Michigan University. Gerry met the love of her life, Jack Ambrose Kenny, whom she married on March 25, 1950 in Saginaw. Together they raised six children of whom they are and have always been extremely proud. They also have 15 very special grandchildren, and 16 fabulous great-grandchildren. After retiring from Saginaw General Hospital in 1989, Gerry and Jack enjoyed traveling with her sister, Dorothy (Walt) Morton; and brother, Bob (Jean) Denzer. Gerry was a faithful member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, where she loved to serve her Lord, devoting time to the Lay Ministry Program, quilting and assisting with the funeral luncheons.
