Obituary of Brian Donald Burback

Burback, Brian Donald of Thomas Township, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 08, 2016 at the VA Ann Abor HealthCare System. He was 52 years old. Brian was born in Saginaw, Michigan on July 15, 1963 to Fred and Mary Jo (Haenlein) Burback. He was a proud graduate of Freeland High School and attended Delta College studying drafting. Brian honorably served his country by enlisting in the United States Army from 1986 to 1988. He loved and cherished his family, especially his grandchildren. He will forever be remembered for being a loving, kind hearted gentle soul. Surviving are a son, Christopher Ryan Burback (Stephanie Garzon) of Saginaw Township, a daughter, Amber Rochelle Burback and her fiancé, Anthony Estep of Saginaw; two grandchildren: Ethan Vaughn Garzon and MaryKay Marie Burback; parents Fred and Mary Jo Burback of Thomas Township; two sisters and three brothers: Bonnie (William) Smith of Hemlock; Scott (Kathy) Burback of Carrollton; Amy (Jeff) VanMeter of Freeland, Steven (Erika) Burback of Saginaw, and Kevin Burback of Thomas Township; a grandmother, Anna Haenlein of Freeland; and a former wife, Jodi (Walter) Fritz of Saginaw. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Mary Burback, and Earl Haenlein. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Rob Schmidt will officiate. Military Honors and Burial will follow under the auspices of United States Army and the American Legion Post #439. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Freeland.
