Passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Centre. She was 96 years old. Eleanor Annette Marsak was born on June 21, 1919 in Bay City, MI to the late Stanley and Julia (Maxson) Marsak. She married Joseph M. Loeffler on November 6, 1942 in Killen, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1988. Eleanor was a faithful member of St. Helen Catholic Church. She worked for Saginaw General Hospital in the housekeeping department, retiring in 1984.
Eleanor is survived by her sons: Joseph A. (Kay) Loeffler, Paul (Linda) Loeffler; daughters, Barbara "Bobbie" (Al) Damalak, Cathy (Church) Billadeau; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Gloria Krenz.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Maxson.
Following Eleanor's wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd., (off State). Please share your thoughts and memories with the family through www.DeislerFuneralHome.com
