Obituary of Richard Teneyuque

Teneyuque, Richard "Rich" of Lake Orion, Michigan formerly of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the age of 44. He was born on July 7, 1971 to Richard and Maria (Compian) Teneyuque in Saginaw, Michigan. Rich was married to Elaine Reinhardt on April 10, 1999 in Saginaw; she survives him. He was a 1989 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Following graduation he attended Saginaw Valley State University and proudly received his Bachelor's degree from Baker College. Rich was an avid Michigan State University fan. He enjoyed playing the guitar, watching the Star Wars films, and playing video games. Above all, Rich loved and cherished spending time with his children and family. He will forever be remembered for his courage, strength, love of family, and his indomitable spirit. Surviving are his wife Elaine Teneyuque of Lake Orion; a son, Richard Teneyuque, III; a daughter, Jasmine Teneyuque; two step-children: Vincent and Santino Gonzales; two grandchildren: Aalyiah and Ashton Gonzales; his parents, Richard and Maria Teneyuque of Saginaw; a brother Tony (Michele) Teneyuque of Saginaw; a sister Cynthia (Homero) Teneyuque-Barrera of Saginaw; and a grandmother, Gloria Teneyuque of Saginaw. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Juan Teneyuque, Pascual and Dolores Compian; two uncles: Juan Teneyuque, Jr. and Juan Yrlas. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Inez Yrlas will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
