Obituary of Craig Steven Sullivan

Please share a memory of Craig to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sullivan, Craig Steven of Saginaw, Michigan Our loving brother, uncle and unforgettable friend has gone to be with his Lord on December 11, 2015. Craig "Sully" Sullivan passed peacefully surrounded by his family and friends. Craig was born on January 20, 1963 to Richard and Esther (Schoen) Sullivan. He graduated from St. Stephen High School and Northwood University. Sully carried on the family tradition working at Sullivan's Restaurant until it was sold. "How would you describe Sully?" A gentle giant, "Beast", avid golfer, had a zest for life, amazing sense of humor, quick witted, caring, a man of honor, unmercifully flirtatious, loved his KENO - "boy, he was his father's son!" Surviving are his three loving sisters and their spouses: Janeen (Rich) Miller, Kristin (Dan) French, Rebecca (Michael) Sovansky; a very special step-mother, Tomi Sullivan; and a step-brother, Adam Karnath; nieces and nephews: Jeffrey, Amanda Miller, Leah (Connor) Reid, Ben (Kaitlyn) French, Portia Sovansky, Erin (Marc) Winter, Alex Sovansky; and great-niece, Elle Rose French. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles and cousins. Sully will be forever missed by his loving family and "numerous and outrageous friends"… You know who you are! He was preceded in death by his father and mother who are waiting to welcome their son with open arms. The family would like to thank the staff of Cartwright for the love and compassion they showed Craig and his family. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. Rev. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate. Honoring Craig's wishes cremation will follow. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Vigil Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. Craig will lie in state at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
