Obituary of Evelyn M. Marino

Marino, Evelyn M. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on November 8, 2015 at Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre. She was 95 years old. Evelyn Mae Roesler was born on October 14, 1920 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late William and Ruth (Meehleder) Roesler. She married Mario Peter Marino on January 10, 1942; he preceded her in death in 1997. Evelyn loved to fish and travel with her husband, especially to Houghton Lake. For a short time, she worked at Ippel's and enjoyed working sales. Further, every Saturday night, she played card games with her family and friends. Evelyn was very close with her two sisters. Surviving are her two sons, Daniel (Sandy) Marino and Mark (Connie) Marino; six grandchildren: Michael (Sarah) Marino, Philip (Krista) Marino, Christy (Rob) Koescielski, Katie (Tim) Wadley, Michelle Owen, and Pete (Sherry) Hite; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, Mario; great-grandson, Gabriel Marino; and two sisters: Eileen and Jinny. FUNERAL: Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1525 S. Washington Ave, 48601. Rev. Fr. Joseph Schabel will officiate, assisted by Deacon Roger Pasionek. Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road (off State) on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. On Wednesday, Evelyn will lie in state at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
