Obituary of Jack C. Roth

Roth, Jack "John" Conrad of Au Gres, Michigan formerly of Saginaw, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015. He was 94 years old. Jack Conrad Roth was born on February 26, 1921 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Conrad John and Clara (Greve) Roth. He married Jean Gray on May 11, 1943 in Saginaw; she preceded him in death October 31, 2001. He proudly served his county by enlisting in the U.S. Naval Service Coast Guard. Jack was employed by Colgate Palmolive, retiring after 31 years of service. He was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in AuGres. Surviving are a son, John C. Roth, Jr. and his special friend, Karen Treadway of Hemlock; two grandchildren: John C. (Lisa) Roth, III of Ann Arbor, and Jodi (Michael) Schultz of Freeland; four great-grandchildren: Abigail, Grace and Sophia Roth and Emilie Schultz; and a niece, Barb (Larry) Schmitzer. He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Garey; a daughter-in-law, Denise Roth. Honoring Jack's wishes cremation has taken place. In accordance with his wishes a private service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State).
