To my airborne buddy Bill. We had coffee every Sunday morning at Fuzzys. Talking about the 82nd airborne and the 101st . I'll always remember this joke (of many ) he told me..Father O'Mally came from Dublin as the head bishop. He noticed a dead jackass on the church lawn. Not knowing what to do he called the chief of police and reported a dead jackass on the church grounds the chief being a smart mouth replied " what do you want me to do about it? Father O'Mally hesitated for a moment and replied, I thought it was my duty to notify the next of kin! I will treasure those days that we sat at Fuzzys. Rest in peace my friend.

We were so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We were lucky enough to know him from sitting by him at St. Stephen's (now St. Dominic) Church. We attended church there for five years with our Dad before his death in 2010 and always enjoyed visiting with Bill before the beginning of Mass. He always had a joke or story to share. Thinking of all of his family at this sad time.....................

What a wonderful man! I always enjoyed a visit from him when at Doris and Harold's house! We have made a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project in Uncle Bill's name, such a fitting tribute to a real hero!

We were so sorry to hear about Mr. Call he was a awesome person. I first met him through family -my brother in law -Bob & Theresa. In later years I would see him at Hoyt Nursing home where we both visited and met many new people. When my daughter was in school he was kind enough to let her interview him about his time in the war. That was very hard for him to do as we soon found out. Our prayers are with his entire family at this time. If you need anything please do not hesitate to call.
