Obituary of Patricia R. Hagerty

HAGERTY, MRS. PATRICIA R. of Irons, Michigan, Formerly a Saginaw Resident Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away peacefully Saturday July 11, 2015 at Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. Age 68 years. The daughter of Mary Jane (Stedron) Premo and the late John Premo, Patricia was born May 25, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a past member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. She married Joseph Hagerty on January 21, 1967. He preceded her in death in August of 2013. Patricia had many jobs leading up to retirement, but her greatest pleasure was being a wife, mother and grandmother. In her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family, renovations around the home, crafts, sewing and boat rides around Harper Lake. Surviving are her three sons and their spouses, Anthony (Lisa), Jason (Dama), and Ryan (Monica); she also leaves behind five grandchildren, Grace, Madison, Morgan, Iris and Violet; her mother, Mary Jane Premo; two sisters and two brothers, Diana (Daniel) Mieske, Tamara Premo, Gerard (Susan) Premo, and Timothy (Ann) Premo; also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Premo; and sister, Betty Ann Luplow. SERVICE: Memorial Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2015 at St. John Paul II (St. Matthew site), 511 W. Cornell Street, 48604. Rev. Fr. James W. Bessert will officiate. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter (off State) on Thursday, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. On Thursday evening, a Vigil Liturgy will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
