Obituary of Yolanda L. Villarreal

Villarreal, Yolanda L. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. She was 55 years old. Yolanda Ledesma was born on July 14, 1959 in Saginaw to the late Martin G. and Josephine (Serrato) Ledesma. She married the love of her life, Jose "Pepe" Villarreal on February 14, 1989 in Saginaw; he preceded her in death on December 25, 2013. Yolanda was a member of the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption. She enjoyed having fun, especially entertaining family and friend at home. Above all, she loved and cherished her family and her beloved dog, Cha Cha. Surviving are a son, Fabian J. Villarreal of Saginaw; a step daughter, Mary Lou Reynoso Villarreal; four sisters: Esmeralda Barrera of Holland, Delia (Jose) Delgado of Saginaw, Sophie (Nick) Amador of Kalamazoo, and Sylvia Ledesma of Kalamazoo; two special nephew, Joshua Delgado of Saginaw, and John "Goldie Ledesma of Kalamazoo; one special great-niece, Mykajia Gonzalez; and a special cousin, Vicky Bolander of Toledo, OH. Also surviving are many cousins nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by a brother, Martin Ledesma, Jr. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 615 Hoyt Ave. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12:00 p.m. FUNERAL: Funeral Liturgy will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 615 Hoyt Ave. Rev. Fr. Andy Booms will officiate. Honoring Yolanda's wishes cremation will follow.
