WEBB, Earl Lynes of Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015 at St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was 87 years old. Earl Lynes Webb was born on April 7, 1927 in Saginaw to the late Earl Lynes and Bertha (Schuette) Webb. He was a 1945 graduate of Saginaw High School. He proudly served his county in the United States Army during the Korean War. While working at Lufkin Rule, Earl met the love of his life, Theresa Mary Desrosier and they were married on May 26, 1951 in Saginaw. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer his entire life, retiring from Saginaw Machine Systems. Earl was a past member of Saginaw Field and Stream and American Legion Post #22. He passionately enjoyed airplanes, cars and cameras. Surviving besides his wife, Theresa Webb of 63 years, are two daughters and three sons: Linda Cox of St. Joseph, Marsha (Tom) Schaper of Saginaw, Russell (Connie) Webb of North Pole, AK, Paul Webb of Saginaw, and Neil (Shelly) Webb of Cheyenne WY; 11 grandchildren: Jeff (Marie) Schaper, Rebecca (Arturo) Lumpkin, Ryan Webb, Daniel Webb, Brandon Webb, Blake Webb, Michael Cox, Nathan Cox, Meloney Hanks, Kaitlynn (Steve) DeMoney, and Kari Webb; two great-grandchildren: Henry Lumpkin and Genevieve Lumpkin; a sister, Carol (Jerry) Beadle; and brother, Harold (Ginny) Webb. FUNERAL: Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1310 Malzahn. Rev. Fr. Andrew LaFramboise will officiate. Rite of Committal and Military Honors under the auspices of American Legion Post #439 will take place at 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Mausoleum. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Earl will lie in state at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Stephen Catholic Church or the Saginaw Valley Air Museum at Harry Browne Airport, 4805 Janes Rd., Saginaw, MI, 48601.
