Deisler, Jacolyn A. "Jackie" of Palm Harbor, FL formerly of Saginaw, MI passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2015 in Clearwater, Florida after a brief illness. She was 87 years old. Jackie was born on March 22, 1927 in Saginaw, MI. She graduated from Saginaw High School and then in her early working years, became the executive assistant to the vice president of Michigan National Bank. She married Anton F. "Tony" Deisler Sr. on June 23, 1951 at St. Mary Cathedral in Saginaw. Jackie was an accomplished artist in both oil painting and charcoal sketching. She was awarded a scholarship to the Chicago Institute of Art and later taught at the Saginaw Art Museum. Jackie loved needlepoint and knitting and bestowed many of her creations to her children and grandchildren. Among her many talents, she had a knack for creating unique women's jewelry that were sold in stores around Clearwater. Jackie loved Florida with its sunny days and sandy beaches. She spent many of those days with her husband, Tony, enjoying her beloved Clearwater Beach. Throughout her life, Jackie had a strong moral value and faithful religious beliefs, which she passed on to her family. Jackie's spirit will be deeply missed by her husband, Anton F. "Tony" Deisler Sr.; children: Anton F. Deisler Jr. (Marilyn) of Saginaw, Mary Jo Barrett (Daniel) of Carl Junction, MO and Robert W. Deisler (Tamara) of Saginaw; grandchildren: Kira A. Garland (Jonathan) of Clearwater, FL, Anton F. Deisler III of Saginaw, Tavis L. Rousseau (Anne) of Crystal Lake, IL, Seth F. Rousseau (Sarah) of Traverse City, MI and Allessa M. Deisler of Saginaw; great grandchildren: Hannah, Ethan and Luke Rousseau and Lauryn Rousseau. SERVICE: A Private Memorial Mass to celebrate Jackie's life will be held at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Palm Harbor, FL. In lieu of flowers and memorials, to honor Jackie, please send a flower to your wife, mother, or grandmother.
