GARCIA, Juan "Birdman" of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 unexpectedly at his home. He was 46 years old. Juan Gregorio Olivarez Garcia was born on July 28, 1967 in Saginaw to Stephen Michael Garcia and Antonia Olivarez. He married the love of his life, Ana Belia Parra on March 10, 2014. She survives him. Juan was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed cooking, reading, golfing, and spending time with his family. He especially treasured being with his children and his beloved Ana Belia. Juan will forever be remembered as a man who put his family first. He was loyal, kind hearted and generous; always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and strangers alike. Surviving are his loving wife, Ana Belia Garcia of Fort Worth, TX; six children: Ashley Nicole, Nicole Ashley, Reyes Maria, Jordan Gregorio, Noah Jacob, Joshua Michael. Juan also leaves behind his grandchildren; mothers: Antonia and Sue Garcia; three brothers and one sister: Joe, Stephanie, Stephen, Fredrick; brother-in-law, Manuel Guerra, Jr., along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Michael Garcia. FUNERAL: Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. 6th Ave. Rev. Fr. Francis Voris OFMCap will officiate. Honoring Juan's wishes, cremation will follow. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Vigil Service will take place on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Juan will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Garcia family c/o Ana Belia Garcia to assist with funeral expenses.
