Obituary of Clyde William Kinne

KINNE, Clyde W. of West Branch, formerly of Saginaw passed away, Sunday, March 9, 2014 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was 78 years old. Clyde was born March 7, 1936 to the late Clyde and Vada (Hudson) Kinne. He married Sharon Baird on July 13, 1996 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Saginaw; she survives him. He proudly served his country in the United State Army from 1953 to 1956. He was employed by United Parcel Service until his retirement in 1997. Clyde was a faithful member of Faith Alive Church in West Branch. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and camper. Clyde had a great love of reading especially Western books, and just being in "his woods". He was known for his great work ethic, but most of all loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; one daughter, Kimberly (Baji) Cadiz of Rochester Hills; and two sons: James Weslock of Muskegon and Jeff (Angela) Weslock of Saginaw. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; four brothers: Ronald (Janet) Kinne, Francis (Gerri) Kinne, Edward (Vicki) Kinne, and Gene (Mary) Kinne.
Clyde was preceded in death by two sisters: Virginia and Barbara; and one brother Donald.
FUNERAL: Funeral Services will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastor William Morris will officiate. Rite of Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Military Honors will be conducted under the auspices American Legion Post #439.
VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society, 1480 W. Center #1, Essexville, MI 48732. Please share your thoughts and memories at the funeral home or through www.deislerfuneralhome.com.
