Obituary of Rebecca Ann Arciniega

ARCINIEGA, Rebecca Ann of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Cartwright Hospice Residence. She was 72 years old. Rebecca was born on December 31, 1941 in San Antonio, TX to the late Louis and Adeline (Cortez) Arciniega. Rebecca graduated from Saginaw High School. She was later employed by Delphi Automotive for about 30 years. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoyed crafts, crocheting, sewing, and antique shops. Surviving are two sisters and one brother: Margaret (George) Soria, George (Mary) Arciniega, and Mary Lou Morris; special nephews: Gregory Arciniega and Steve Morris, IV; special niece, Monica Morris; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Adeline Arciniega; brother, Joe Arciniega; and brother-in-law, Steve Morris, II. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1525 S. Washington Avenue. Rev. Fr. Thomas J. McNamara will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road (off State) on Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. On Sunday afternoon, Deacon Roger Pasionek will officiate a Vigil service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. On Monday morning, Rebecca will be taken to the church to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
