I have many wonderful memories of my Uncle Carlos and also of my Aunt Alice. My earlist memory of my uncle Carlos was him giving my brother Art a nickel and sending him to the corner store to buy an orange HIPPO, this was a pop. My uncle like to drink Hippo's. This took place in San Antonio, Texas. During that time Uncle was living with my Grandma Clarita and my Uncle Frank. When I was older and living in Michigan, my Uncle Carlos went to live with us for a while on 21 St.,in Saginaw that was the first time I met Alice Garcia, who was to become my favorite and very much loved Aunt Alice. I clearly remember that my uncle was resting in my and my sisters bedroom, when there was a knock on the door and I went to open it, there was my Aunt Alice looking so beautiful in a cream colored skirt, I don't remember the color of the blouse, but she had on a cream colored beret, a hat. They made such a beautiful couple, both of them were very good looking. I miss them both, but will never stop loving them. I know my Uncle and Aunt are together again.
