Shawn and Shawn's Family,
I want you all to know how much of a blessing Shawn has been in the life of our family. We first met when she began to pet sit for our special needs Doxen 'Eli,' two years ago. As time progressed Shawn helped us with other things at our home and we would spend time at our house with Shawn at least 1x per week for the last several months. We had many conversations that ranged from the way life is, to children and family, to dogs, and about God. Shawn became more than our pet sitter, she became our friend and family to us.
Shawn was very charismatic and she cared about people in a significant way. Our family greatly appreciates Shawn and enjoyed our conversations and her ability to relate to us in such an important way. Shawn greatly expressed her joy of her sons in her life and the blessing of both Justin and Shane. It was so evident that she loved her boys. She always said "my boys are good boys, they are a blessing."
Shawn is greatly missed by our family. The shock of losing Shawn has hit us hard, we have lost a good friend. Our prayers and thoughts go out to the family, especially Justin and Shane. Your importance in your mother's life was more than you can ever imagine. Joyous thoughts that she would share with us focused around Justin and Shane, Shawn's mom, sister, and her brother, as well as her friend that she did animal rescue with.
Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your life Shawn. You are already greatly missed!
