We were the Apt managers when she lived with Tom at Green Acres Village Apts back in Fall 1987 to September 1992. Kimberly our daughter they were babysitters for her at times. Pat Judy & Kimberly have fond memories of them. They will be missed but not forgotten.

I will always remember the hugs I got from Mrs. White at church every Sunday. She always said, "Oh Chrissy, my little girl." I was so lucky to have visited her right before her 100th birthday, and bring her cards from all of the students at Thomas White. I got one last hug. She will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I will forever be her "little girl".

My prayers are with Miss Myrtle's family. Miss Myrtle was my kindergarten teacher at Bridgeport School and to this day she is my favorite teacher. I had the opportunity to talk to her a couple years ago when we were planning our Bridgeport 9th grade reunion and she was as sharp as a tack. I sent her one of our booklets that we were putting together and she called and told me how her sister had read it to her. She shared how proud she was of our class. God rest Miss Myrtle.

In the fall of 1947 I attended Kindergarden at the school on Sherman St. in Bridgeport. I still remember Miss Myrtle with such love and respect. I am going on 72 years old and I am happy to have visited with her at Hoyt shortly after her birthday last year. I was so lucky to have her to launch my school career. May you rest in peace.

The world has lost an amazing soul but Heaven has gained a true angel. Mrs. White was one of the most loving, sweet, thoughtful, caring and faithful people I have ever met. It was a privilege to have known her. Even when she could barely see and had to use a magnifying glass to see what she was writing she sent notes of encouragement to my family - and I suspect many, many other families. She was one of the main reasons I have such fond memories of the church I grew up in (Bridgeport Community Church). She led Sunday School and VBS classes for generations. Giving all of us a great foundation while having fun. I don't remember ever seeing her and not seeing that sweet smile! She truly loved us all and it showed in everything she did. My condolences to all of Mrs. White's family and loved ones.

Aunt Myrtle was a blessing and inspiration to all who knew her. I am so grateful that we were able to spend time with her and Aunt Myra a couple of years ago when we came through Saginaw on vacation. She made such an impression on my children, who had not seen her since they were very small, and will always be remembered by me with great love and admiration. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mrs. White was my children's first Sunday School and VBS teacher, what a joy it was to
work with her. The love she had for all the children was wonderful....
