Obituary of Shirley Ann Buscarino

BUSCARINO, Shirley Ann of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Healthsource-Great Lakes of Saginaw. She was 83 years old. Shirley Ann Pockrandt was born December 9, 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Jules and Bertha (Keeley) Pockrandt. She married Joseph Buscarino on June 10, 1950; he preceded her in death on August 25, 1997. She graduated from St. Mary Catholic High School in 1949. Shirley was employed by Saginaw Osteopathic Hospital as a Ward Clerk for over 20 years. Shirley was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church before relocating to Florida. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Patricia (James) Muladore; two sons, Michael Buscarino and Timothy (Kimberly) Buscarino; 10 grandchildren, Dana (Chris) Muscott, Erin (Joshua) Casselman, Alissa (Jason) Dark, Joshua Muladore, Kori (Travis) Herek, Eric Buscarino, Martha Buscarino, Benjemin Buscarino, and twins, Joseph and Anna Buscarino; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Vivian Abbenante and Janet Abbenante; sister-in-law, Nina Palmer; and many family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 47 years, Joseph Buscarino; and brother, Norman Pockrandt. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Community Village and Healthsource-Great Lakes of Saginaw for their wonderful care given to Shirley. FUNERAL: A Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Mr. Alfred O. Christiansen will officiate. Cremation has taken place. VISITATION: Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
