Left to treasure her memory are her daughter, Bette Jo Schmerheim of Saginaw; her sister, Sue Armstrong of Saginaw; two sisters-in-law: Olivia (the late Jim) Egerer, Jane (the late Dick) Egerer. Bettie was preceded in death by her son, Joe Schmerheim Jr.; her sister, Madeline Lawler; and two brothers: Joe Egerer and Jack Egerer.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the exceptional past and present staff of Meadow View Manor for their love and gentle patience. They would also like to acknowledge the staff of SouthernCare Hospice for their fantastic care.
