Obituary of Nancy Carol Liebrecht

LIEBRECHT, Nancy Carol of New Baltimore, Michigan, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at McLaren Macomb, with her daughter, Stacie, by her side. Nancy moved to New Baltimore to be near her youngest daughter, continuing their deep, loving, and compassionate bond. She was 74 years old. Nancy C. Liebrecht was born on January 4, 1939, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late, Carl F. and Helen K. (Fordos) Liebrecht. Nancy enjoyed dancing, fishing, cooking, and gardening—she loved her tomato plants. Most of all, Nancy cherished her children and grandchildren. Also, she was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Surviving are three children: Vickie (Bruce) Ziegelman of Morgan Hill, CA, Mark (Dawn) Jurewicz of Dearborn Heights and Stacie (Jim) Gilchrist of New Baltimore; six grandchildren: Tanner and Tiffany Ziegelman of Morgan Hill, CA, Katie and Kalie Jurewicz of Dearborn Heights, Lauren and Alyssa Gilchrist of New Baltimore; three brothers and four sisters: Jim (Sandi) Liebrecht of Traverse City, Mary Jane (John) McKenna of Traverse City, Christine (Bob) McCrea of Marquette, Frank (Denise) Liebrecht of Saginaw, Joyce (Ed) Zagunis of Traverse City, Dan Liebrecht of Long Beach, CA, and Janice Neely of Alabama. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Liebrecht. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 4735 W. Michigan Ave. Rev. Fr. John R. Johnson will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow at Oakwood Mausoleum. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
