Obituary of Teresa MacKenzie

MacKenzie, Teresa Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, January 17, 2021 at her residence. She was 91 years old. Teresa Marshall was born August 14, 1929 in England. She came to the United States of America as a young girl. She married Houston (H.E) Drake. He preceded her in death on January 10, 1984. Teresa then married Robert MacKenzie in 1996. He passed away on February 1, 2012. Teresa was a successful business owner and operated three bars in Saginaw: Drakes, Paddock Lounge, and Rogs, retiring after many years. Surviving are her grandchildren, Eric (Rachel) Serres and Lisa (Roger) Drielick; great-grandchildren, Cody and Makenzy Drielick, Olivia and Safiya Serres; nephew, Allan (Linda) Marshall; niece, Pat Chappelle and many close friends. Teresa was preceded in death by her children, Frances Michael and Butch Thomas; her parents and siblings, and many other friends and loved ones. In keeping with Teresa's wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no services planned at this time. Deisler Funeral Home is honored to serve the Mackenzie family.
