Obituary of Lois Ann Bierlein

Bierlein, Lois Ann "Nan" Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Covenant HealthCare - Michigan after a brief illness. She was 94 years old. Lois Ann Terrian was born on June 29, 1926 in Saginaw to the late Lein "Link" and Regina J. (Roth) Terrian. She was one of eleven children, growing up in Saginaw, graduating from Arthur Hill High School. Lois was married to Robert W. Bierlein. She enjoyed her retirement home at Houghton Lake where she spent many days reading and making wonderful memories with her family and friends. She is survived by her children: Thomas L. Bierlein, Michael D. (Kathleen) Bierlein and Randy Bierlein; daughter-in-law, Patricia (Pat Sellenraad) Bierlein; grandchildren: Jill (Paul) Vasold, Jeff Bierlein, Stacy Bierlein, Stephanie Bierlein, Ryan (Casey) Bierlein, Mark Bierlein, Jason (Christy) Bierlein; twelve great grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; siblings: Kay Clark, Dennis (Micky) Terrian, Leon (Linda) Terrian, Muffet (Brent) Behm, Jim (Sue) Pugh. Lois was preceded in death by Robert; son, Gary R. Bierlein; daughter-in-law, Sienna Bierlein; siblings: Betty (Louis) Wendling, Jean Crampton, Don (Ruth) Terrian, Barb (Bob) Schulz, Sandra (Jim) Sapp, Judy Pugh and Ron Clark. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the nurses of Covenant HealthCare for their loving and compassionate care. We know that Lois would want all of her friends and family to stay healthy and safe, so a private memorial will be held at a later date.
